Education

AWWI’s Education Initiative leverages AWWI tools and world-class wildlife research to demonstrate to other energy sectors how to proactively address potential biodiversity impacts of wider energy deployment.

Energy companies that work to resolve the constraints of conservation concerns on their activity will be the first to achieve the critical transition to a carbon-neutral world.

To further educate the public, AWWI will communicate its Research, Mapping and Mitigation Initiative findings to:

  • Regional wind industry trade associations
  • Conservation and environmental organizations
  • Government agencies
  • Media

In addition, AWWI has been approached by Canadian and Mexican officials to help them create similar collaborations. Such cross-border partnerships could effectively achieve conservation success for all of North America.
